Happy New Year 2011!

It's been a long time since my last post and one of the new year's resolutions I have is to blog more. Why? I have no idea. It isn't like I have anything interesting or anecdotal to say or even that anyone reads this, but I figure if I die maybe I will leave a trail of breadcrumbs along the way.

I rang in the new year at the Eisman hut in the 10th Mountain Division. I look forward to every hut trip because the people that you meet at these huts are just amazing. Everyone has great stories of adventure and most of them have traveled internationally. Of course you can't beat the skiing either! The in-laws bought us a SPOT GPS device for Christmas and this was SPOT's inaugural trip. Unfortunately, SPOT was lost on the way back to the TH, but I was able to download the majority of the SPOT's tracker information and create a trip report with some pictures. There is video too, but that will come later.

I hope everyone has a safe, healthy, and prosperous 2011!
